vTiger Field Tooltip User Guide

vTiger Field Tooltip allows system administrator to create tooltips for any standard or custom field. Field Tooltips can be added to any standard or custom module. It will improve efficiency, reduce the margin of error as well as help to maintain data integrity.

  • Mouse of the “Gear” icon in the right/upper corner
  • Hit “CRM Settings”
  • Scroll down to “Other Settings” section, click on “Help Icon Manager”

  • Select the module you want to add the Field Tooltip
  • Enter the field description and it will be saved automatically

  • Open one of the records in Edit or Create view and mouse over the tooltip.
